The Firm of Glass was founded in 1948 by Helene and Albert Glass on the former company premises in Industriestrasse, Mindelheim.  The early years were characterized by rebuilding and repairs after the war years.  The ongoing building made the lack of building materials obvious and in the fifties the company began producing building bricks and ceiling girders.

In the 60’s the civil engineering, turnkey  and industrial departments were added to the original building construction company.
In 1973 new sites were bought for the company between Allgauer and Daimlerstrasse.  The foundations were laid for the Industrial construction company with the building of a modern precast concrete works.  Today the site covers 170,000 sq metres and is the headquarters and companies head office for all construction activities.

Today, the company of Glass covers the entire spectrum of construction from special civil engineering to high quality house building.  The emphasis being the turnkey industrial construction work which is carried out over the entire country.
